Oh what a difference a day makes. America is waking up to the financial crisis that is unfolding on wall street and affecting millions. So what does this have to do with art besides the obvious? Less expendable money means less spent on luxuries such as art. Folks in the art world, like everyone else, have to work harder and smarter to get art to the people. Weather it be keeping art education in schools or finding homes so speak for artwork. The upcoming months and the holiday season will be interesting. So, I just want to take a moment to say thank you to the patrons of the Chentini Gallery!

I just want to give a shout out to Carol Medhurst for a job well done with the Shall We Dine benefit for the Orange Art Center. I was not able to stay the whole night due to family logistics but I did enjoy the different array of artwork for auction.

With the changing of the leaves and the air is getting colder and I decided it was time to paint the walls bright yellow and red. Color is a great pick me up! Lori Pastors bright sunflowers now adorn one of the main walls in the gallery. How could you not be cheered up by looking at this painting!
